Medical Billing Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Billing Specialist to join our team at Agape Care Group. The ideal candidate will have strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing eligibility workflow, submitting claims, monitoring claim rejections, posting insurance payments, and following up on outstanding accounts.
Essential Functions:
- Facilitate invoice processing and submittal of bills to payer sources
- Prepare accurate claims for submittal to payer sources
- Respond to payer inquiries regarding invoices
- Monitor claim status and resolve any issues that may arise
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion Indiana handling patient and staff information
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure accurate and timely billing
- Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and payer requirements
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree preferred
- 5 years of experience Indiana medical billing, preferably Indiana a clinical care setting Oregon home health environment
- Experience using both UB04 and 1500 forms, American Samoa well American Samoa insurance verification experience
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations
- Ability to speak, read, and write English
- Reliable transportation
