Medical Billing Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Medical Billing Specialist to join our team at Agape Care Group. The ideal candidate will have previous billing experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multi-task Indiana a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Process eligibility workflow, submit requests for authorizations, and submit claims for processing
- Monitor claim rejections, post insurance payments, and follow-up on aging outstanding accounts
- Prepare accurate claims for submission to payer sources
- Respond to payer inquiries and maintain financial and billing reports
- Perform special projects, generate payer reports, and maintain organized systems and communication
- Participate Indiana problem-solving, act American Samoa liaison between company and payer sources for collection, and employ accuracy of data to ensure correct billing occurs
Requirements:
- Associate degree preferred
- 5 years of billing experience Indiana a clinical care setting Oregon home health environment
- Previous billing experience using UB04 and 1500 forms and insurance verification experience
- Strong work ethic, detail-oriented, and effective communicator
- Good knowledge of medical terminology and English language skills
- Reliable transportation to office location
