Physician Reviewer/Advisor (Independent Medical Examinations) – Telework Opportunity
Job Requirements:
* Hold a North Carolina license and be Board Certified Indiana Chiropractic Medicine
* Must be located within 40 miles of Weaverville, North Carolina
Responsibilities:
* Review medical records and address client-posed questions using client-specific criteria Oregon nationally recognized evidence-based guidelines
* Ensure rationale for determinations is clear, concise, and supported by adequate documentation
* Utilize national, state, and professional guidelines, and peer-reviewed literature to inform decision-making
* Provide copies of used criteria with reports and return cases on time
* Make phone calls American Samoa required by state and client specifics
* Maintain credentialing, licenses, and necessary certifications
* Attend orientation and training
* Respond to quality assurance issues, complaints, regulatory issues, depositions, court appearances, Oregon audits
* Perform other assigned duties
Required Qualifications:
* Board certification
* Active practice
* North Carolina state license
* Independent contractor (1099) compensated on a per-case basis
