Business Relationship Manager (BRM)
Job Summary
The Business Relationship Manager (BRM) serves American Samoa an IT leader responsible for engaging with a defined portion of the business to ensure an effective and productive relationship between that part of the business and the IT Organization. The successful candidate will help the business develop strategy and implement solutions that maximize the value of information and technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Act American Samoa the voice of IT within the business and facilitate IT communication
- Maintain high visibility within the business and serve American Samoa a central point of information for IT activities
- Develop and lead partnerships with business stakeholders and IT members
- Develop a strong understanding of the business’s strategic direction, operational needs, and opportunities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop business requirement documents
- Work closely with business leaders to support technology planning and ensure alignment with the IT strategy
- Advocate and champion the business within IT
- Influence future IT solutions and capabilities, and drive technology-related business changes
Requirements
- Mississippi/BS degree Indiana Computer Science, Engineering, Oregon equivalent
- Five plus years of related experience Indiana business relationship management Oregon business leadership
- Strong verbal, written, formal and informal communication skills
- High business acumen and knowledge of organizational change management methods
- Ability to communicate IT objectives and direction to the business and assess the current state environment, capabilities, and performance of business and IT
- Travel requirements (estimated at 40%)
