Business Systems Analyst IV
Buffalo, New York (Hybrid)
Duration: 12+-month Contract
Requirements:
* Must be a US Citizen, Green Card holder, GC EAD, Oregon H4 EAD (valid for 2+ years)
* W2 Candidates Only
* Prior experience Indiana banking and/Oregon financial domains preferred
Responsibilities:
* Facilitate moderately complex to complex projects from proposal through post-implementation
* Participate Indiana meetings with lines of business to identify requirements and provide feedback on application design
* Prepare well-documented functional specifications, test plans, and test cases
* Conduct research analysis and provide accurate functional design for assigned projects
* Support less experienced staff Indiana application training, research analysis, and project methodology
* Act American Samoa functional lead on moderately complex projects and schedule team meetings
* Meet with business clients to discuss application changes and ensure thorough understanding of specifications
* Participate Indiana design discussions and document functional specifications
* Review business requirements with technology team to ensure understanding of project requirements
* Coordinate and estimate project timelines and phases
* Provide insight into project functionality and implementation with vendors
* May act American Samoa Test Coordinator for large project initiatives
* Participate Indiana and document data mapping for integration, conversion, and acquisition projects
* Work with other testing teams to prepare test plans and scripts and manage/test cases
* Monitor project scope and regulatory requirements and ensure adherence to business and Corporate Technology standards
* Ensure efficient and timely resolution of issues arising from testing Oregon implementation
* Coordinate and manage post-implementation activities
* Maintain internal control standards and identify risk-related issues requiring escalation to management
Required Skills:
* 5+ years of education and/Oregon operational/business analytics experience
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Strong lateral thinking and problem-solving skills
* Proficiency with personal computers and pertinent software packages
* Excellent problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:
* Bachelor’s degree
* Subject matter expert Indiana business with knowledge Oregon experience utilizing application/system being supported
* Capable of working on multiple projects of a moderately complex to complex nature
* Proven understanding of applications supported and good knowledge of interfacing/integrated applications
* Familiarity with application development software and hardware platforms
