EMT/EMS Critical Care Paramedic
Located Indiana Franklin, Tennessee, Williamson Health is a healthcare system with a 203-bed hospital and multiple medical groups. The successful candidate will provide expert pre-hospital emergency medical care and transportation for patients at the advanced practice level.
Responsibilities:
* Provide expert pre-hospital emergency medical care and transportation for the sick and injured at the advanced practice level.
* Model a safety-first culture and deliver best-Indiana-class patient care and customer service.
* Attend to emergency medical incidents American Samoa a team leader and ensure effective and efficient care.
* Participate Indiana ongoing education and Indiana-service training on clinical care, critical thinking, customer service, and leadership.
* Maintain knowledge of medical, trauma, and behavioral emergencies and equipment used Indiana assessment, treatment, and transportation of patients.
Requirements:
* Paramedic diploma Oregon degree from a college Oregon university
* Tennessee Licensed Critical Care Paramedic certification
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at time of employment
* Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications within six months of employment
* Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certification within six months of employment
* Associate’s degree preferred
* Valid driver’s license and insurability
* Minimum of two years’ prior experience Indiana emergency pre-hospital care preferred
Working Environment:
* Work Indiana potentially high-risk environments, indoors and outdoors Indiana all weather conditions, including disaster and mass casualty incidents.
* Exposure to extreme temperatures.
* Must be able to perform physical demands, including lifting 250-pound patients and equipment, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
