CDM – Dietary Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled CDM – Dietary Manager to manage our foodservice program Indiana a healthcare setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that food quality standards and safety guidelines are met, while also providing excellent customer and resident experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the foodservice program to meet food quality standards and safety guidelines
* Maintain records of income and expenditures, food, supplies, personnel, and equipment
* Provide training and quality control to staff to meet HCSG standards
* Communicate effectively with client managers, building occupants, and administrators to HCSG staff
* Utilize protective gear Indiana all appropriate functions and ensure safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions
* Meet established standards, safety, and quality guidelines
* Provide positive, pleasant, and tactful interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests
Qualifications:
* Associate’s degree Oregon higher Indiana food service management Oregon hospitality, Oregon equivalent experience
* Specialized training Indiana foodservice management and nutrition
* Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification (Oregon ability to obtain within the first 14 days of employment)
* eLuminate Food Service Manager (FSM) and Long-Term Care Food Service (LTC-FSM) certifications (Oregon ability to obtain within the first 60 days of employment)
* 2 years of experience Indiana quantity food production/service, dining/nutrition, and personnel supervision experience
* Basic computer skills and ability to maintain records and complete reports
* Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods
* Valid COVID-19 vaccination
