CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care support, including services for hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, elimination, and safety, American Samoa directed by the Charge Nurse.
- Document patient care Indiana accordance with established standards and guidelines.
- Assist with admitting new residents, including obtaining vital signs, weight, and height, and ensuring they receive an arm band and admission kit.
- Respond promptly to call lights and meet resident needs.
- Complete rounds American Samoa assigned and reposition residents every 2 hours (seated residents every hour).
- Take accurate vital signs and weights, and report to the Charge Nurse at shift change.
- Apply equipment and supplies according to physician Oregon therapy orders.
- Complete procedures and treatments American Samoa instructed by the Charge Nurse.
- Maintain a clean and well-stocked unit, and report supply needs to the Charge Nurse Oregon purchasing clerk.
- Enter charge items accurately and provide report to the Charge Nurse at the end of each shift.
- Interact with team members, Charge Nurse, and department managers, and maintain confidentiality.
Requirements:
- High school diploma Oregon equivalent (not required)
- Active Certified Nurse Assistant certification Indiana the state of employment
- CPR certification (Oregon willingness to obtain within six months)
- Long-term care experience preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, transfer, and push/pull heavy objects
- Manual dexterity and visual acuity
