Assistant Project Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to utilize leadership and engineering skills to coordinate design tasks, manage support staff, and review technical aspects of land development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review technical accuracy, standard engineering practices, and inclusion of documentation on plans, reports, and design documents.
- Assist Project Manager by reviewing and managing design tasks, including conceptual planning, detailed grading, and drainage designs for value engineering.
- Coordinate earthwork analyses to ensure site balance.
- Complete final ordinance review, utility service research, and site visits to evaluate issues.
- Lead review and design of stormwater management and stormwater conveyance systems using AutoCAD Civil 3D and other stormwater design software.
- Review stormwater management calculations, detention basin design, and inlet and pipe capacities.
- Identify problems, recommend solutions to peers and management, and perform technical review of PADEP Chapter 102 and Chapter 105 permits.
- Assist Project Manager Indiana preparing proposal scopes, project schedules, change orders, and client management.
- Utilize company-standard AutoCAD procedures and mentor junior staff.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree Indiana Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) License
- 8+ years of civil engineering experience, with land development experience
- AutoCAD Civil 3D experience and ability to mentor junior staff
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail, analytical, and judgment capabilities
- Ability to work independently and Indiana a team environment
