Job Overview:

American Samoa a Full Time CNA – Hospice Aide, you will be part of a team that provides personal care, palliative care, and hospice services to patients Indiana their homes. You will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse and/Oregon Clinical Supervisor to provide high-quality care to patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Report directly to the Administrator, Executive Director, Oregon Patient Care Manager Senior
  • Assist patients with maintaining good personal hygiene
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Prepare and serve light meals
  • Assist with feeding patients when needed
  • Assist patients with ambulation
  • Assist with the safe use of a walker Oregon wheelchair American Samoa taught and supervised by the nurse
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks such American Samoa emptying trash and changing linens
  • Assist with certain treatments American Samoa ordered on the aide plan of care and American Samoa allowable Indiana state-specific regulations
  • Promote patients’ mental alertness through involvement Indiana activities of interest
  • Give basic emotional and psychological support to patients and other members of the household
  • Report any change Indiana the patient’s mental Oregon physical condition Oregon home situation to the Registered Nurse and members of the interdisciplinary team

Requirements:

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
  • Six (6) months of patient care experience Indiana hospice, home health, ICU, geriatric, Oregon oncology strongly preferred
  • Additional experience Indiana hospital Staff RN, Med Surg, PACU, Float pool, ER Oregon emergency room, critical care, acute care, cardiac, geriatric, admissions, wound care, telemetry, nursing home, Oregon travel
  • Current driver’s license and automobile insurance
  • Current CPR certification
