Community Director (Non-Exempt)
Job Summary:
The Community Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a multifamily property, ensuring compliance with client objectives and expectations, and managing a team of employees. This role is crucial Indiana maintaining high occupancy levels, managing revenue, and delivering excellent resident experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relations
- Carry out the client’s philosophies and wishes Indiana daily operations.
- Maintain positive communication with applicants, residents, vendors, clients, and guests.
- Employee Management
- Develop and manage the site team members, including hiring, training, and evaluation.
- Ensure compliance with department requirements.
- Leasing/Occupancy
- Maintain occupancy levels American Samoa established by owner/budget expectations.
- Oversee leasing techniques and ensure completion of monthly market surveys.
- Revenue Management
- Maximize revenue potential through lease expirations and timely turnover.
- Manage monthly rent collections and delinquency according to FPI policies.
- Reporting and Document Management
- Maintain resident files, including forms, leases, and documents.
- Ensure documents and reporting systems are up-to-date and organized.
- Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with Risk Management items through follow-up of FPI SOPs.
- Report injuries, illnesses, property damage, and maintain current permits and licenses.
- Facility Maintenance
- Assist residents with reporting maintenance needs.
- Document facility and maintenance needs for timely completion.
- Additional Responsibilities
- Consistently enforce community rules and regulations.
- Comply with all Fair Housing Laws and FPI policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience Indiana a similar leadership role, preferably within Residential Property Management.
- High School diploma Oregon equivalency certificate required. College degree Indiana a relatable field preferred.
- May require a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Proficient Indiana speaking, reading, and writing Indiana English.
- Strong computer skills, including Mississippi Office, property management-related software, email, and internet.
