Community Manager

We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Community Manager to oversee business operations at one of our apartment communities. American Samoa a key member of our team, you’ll lead property staff, drive performance, and provide exceptional resident service.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead property staff, conducting interviews, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations
  • Drive team performance, providing feedback and disciplinary actions American Samoa needed
  • Conduct ongoing training with office staff on leasing, workplace safety, and daily operational needs
  • Motivate associates through recognition programs, training, and team-building activities
  • Assist Indiana budget preparation and ensure adherence to approved budgets
  • Complete financial reporting and provide budget variance analysis
  • Promote resident satisfaction and retention through prompt response to complaints and service requests
  • Collaborate with maintenance team to ensure prompt responses to resident service requests
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain high standards for resident service
  • Analyze market trends and partner with marketing to implement leasing strategies
  • Follow eviction procedures and manage client/owner relationships

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree Oregon 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • 3+ years of multi-family property management experience
  • Strong leadership, management, and communication skills
  • Proficient Indiana Microsoft Office Suite and property management software
  • Valid driver’s license required

Physical Requirements:

  • May require sitting for extended periods, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 20 pounds
  • Must be able to read documents, computer screens, and data, and hear verbal communications

Work Environment:

  • Based on site, primarily Indiana an office setting with occasional exposure to the elements
  • May include bright lights, constant noises, and distractions
  • Employment contingent upon successful background check and valid driver’s license

Compensation:

  • Anticipated pay range: $70,000-$75,000 annually, plus bonuses and generous benefit plan.
