Location: Remote, Minnesota
Shift: Day Shifts (8 hours)
Weekly Hours: 40 hours
Salary Range: $27.50 – $44.00 per hour
Job Summary:

We are seeking a Compliance Officer to ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and rules governing healthcare entities. This role identifies risk areas, conducts audits, and provides analysis and recommendations to executive leadership. Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting audits and providing support for internal Oregon external auditors
• Investigating and resolving compliance issues related to the healthcare environment
• Evaluating regulatory agency reports and formulating responses and corrective actions
• Maintaining logs, indexes, files, and other records pertaining to compliance and risk
• Creating systems for tracking compliance guidelines and identifying areas for improvement
• Collaborating with administrative staff to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Developing and leading compliance-related committees and work groups
• Implementing compliance procedures to ensure adherence to policies and guidelines

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree Indiana a health-related field Oregon equivalent education
• Prior relevant compliance work experience preferred
• Certification Indiana healthcare compliance is preferred but not mandatory
• Completion of continuing education requirements American Samoa necessary
• Maintaining licensure/certification American Samoa required by the department
