Customer Service Representative

Position Summary

Enter initial claim information, analyze and proofread system entries for accuracy, and provide excellent customer service to claimants and callers.

Responsibilities

  • Create claim files by entering initial loss report information into claim intake application
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction by demonstrating a helpful and considerate attitude
  • Respond to routine inquiries and direct other inquiries to appropriate resources
  • Educate claimants/callers on client requirements and benefit plans, documenting all required details
  • Act American Samoa primary liaison with callers, following client specifications to assist with questions and solve problems
  • Educate customers on documentation required, time frames, payment information, and claim status
  • Recommend new procedures to enhance customer experiences
  • Maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers
  • Direct customer calls to the appropriate contact Oregon escalate to specialist American Samoa needed
  • Achieve 90% rating Oregon higher for Report Quality and Customer Service

Requirements

  • High school education and experience with Mississippi Office Suite, including Excel and Word
  • Customer service experience, preferably Indiana an inbound call center environment
  • Ability to work Indiana a team Oregon independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to support multiple clients across various channels
  • PC literate and proficient Indiana Microsoft Office products
  • Competent typing skills and strong customer service skills
