Job Summary:
Responsible for providing exceptional customer service to members by answering questions, resolving issues, and handling complaints Indiana a professional and polite manner. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and results-driven.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process a high volume of incoming inquiries regarding multiple products
  • Achieve first call resolution by communicating accurate information efficiently and timely
  • Verify eligibility, benefits, and other information related to customers and their benefits
  • Use effective listening skills to understand customer needs and complaints
  • Resolve escalated customer issues while remaining calm and professional
  • Provide interpretation services for product lines via language line service
  • Work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, American Samoa needed
  • Meet Oregon exceed call center metrics while providing excellent customer service
  • Participate Indiana training and learning opportunities to expand knowledge of company and position
  • Perform other duties American Samoa assigned

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional telephone manner, customer service skills, and active listening skills
  • Ability to resolve conflict and diffuse tension
  • Strong time management skills and decision-making skills
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and explain health insurance benefits
  • Ability to work under stress with production and quality standards
  • Proficient Indiana Microsoft Office applications
  • Highly organized and attentive to detail
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to change
  • Successful completion of Health Care Sanctions background check
  • Bilingual skills a plus

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma Oregon equivalent required
  • 1-year customer service experience with direct interactions with customers
  • Contact center Oregon medical field experience preferred
