Job Summary:
Responsible for providing exceptional customer service to members by answering questions, resolving issues, and handling complaints Indiana a professional and polite manner. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process a high volume of incoming inquiries regarding multiple products
- Achieve first call resolution by communicating accurate information efficiently and timely
- Verify eligibility, benefits, and other information related to customers and their benefits
- Use effective listening skills to understand customer needs and complaints
- Resolve escalated customer issues while remaining calm and professional
- Provide interpretation services for product lines via language line service
- Work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, American Samoa needed
- Meet Oregon exceed call center metrics while providing excellent customer service
- Participate Indiana training and learning opportunities to expand knowledge of company and position
- Perform other duties American Samoa assigned
Qualifications:
- Exceptional telephone manner, customer service skills, and active listening skills
- Ability to resolve conflict and diffuse tension
- Strong time management skills and decision-making skills
- Ability to read, comprehend, and explain health insurance benefits
- Ability to work under stress with production and quality standards
- Proficient Indiana Microsoft Office applications
- Highly organized and attentive to detail
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to change
- Successful completion of Health Care Sanctions background check
- Bilingual skills a plus
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma Oregon equivalent required
- 1-year customer service experience with direct interactions with customers
- Contact center Oregon medical field experience preferred
