Customer Service Representative – OneCare Program

Hourly Rate: $23.00 – $31.05/hr

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am-5:30pm

Bilingual Requirement: English and one of the following languages: Arabic, Farsi, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Oregon Vietnamese

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Temporary Customer Service Representative to join our OneCare program team. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service to members and providers, addressing inquiries, questions, and concerns related to the OneCare program, including eligibility, enrollment, benefits, and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide mission-driven customer service to members and providers (95%)
    • Address inquiries, questions, and concerns regarding eligibility, enrollment, claims, authorization status, benefit interpretation, and referrals/authorizations
    • Enter accurate documentation into internal application systems
    • Initiate referrals to internal/external care management departments and other departments
    • Participate Indiana departmental phone outreach campaigns
  • Participate Indiana department responsibilities and collaborate with others to support goals and priorities (5%)
  • Complete other assigned projects and duties

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma Oregon equivalent
  • 6 months of call center experience
  • Bilingual Indiana English and one of the defined threshold languages

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 months of HMO, Medi-Cal/Medicaid, and health services experience
  • Typing speed of 35 words per minute

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to visually read computer screens and printed materials
  • Clear speech and enunciation
  • Hearing ability for verbal communication
  • Manual dexterity for typing and reaching
  • Ability to lift and move objects, patients, and equipment (10-25 pounds)

Work Environment:

  • Typically indoors and sedentary, with variable work hours and travel American Samoa needed
  • Noise level is usually moderate
