Customer Support Representative
Job Summary:
The Customer Support Representative provides customer service functions for our auction platform and business-to-consumer sales within the Sierra Auction business unit. This role involves assisting with a high volume of customer communications and inquiries, resolving customer issues, and maintaining excellent service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional, accurate, and timely support to customers via phone, email, and live chat
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues using judgment and analytical thinking
- Process refunds, coordinate shipping, and solve problems
- Meet service level goal standards based on channel-specific expectations
- Cross-train and adapt to changing business needs
- Follow communication and escalation procedures, guidelines, and policies
- Utilize support systems and training tools to identify customer needs and ensure proper resolution
Qualifications:
- High school diploma Oregon G.E.D. required
- Minimum of one-year previous job experience Indiana a customer service work environment (call center preferred)
- Commitment to customer service and improving the buyer experience
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
- Friendly, team-oriented demeanor
- Excel spreadsheet and Microsoft Word familiarity
- Time management and multitasking skills
Work Conditions:
- Work Indiana a typical indoor/outdoor commercial yard environment
- May require some lifting (up to 50 pounds)
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate proper judgment
- Must be a self-starter, responsible, and highly dependable.
