Customer Support Representative

Job Summary:

The Customer Support Representative provides customer service functions for our auction platform and business-to-consumer sales within the Sierra Auction business unit. This role involves assisting with a high volume of customer communications and inquiries, resolving customer issues, and maintaining excellent service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional, accurate, and timely support to customers via phone, email, and live chat
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues using judgment and analytical thinking
  • Process refunds, coordinate shipping, and solve problems
  • Meet service level goal standards based on channel-specific expectations
  • Cross-train and adapt to changing business needs
  • Follow communication and escalation procedures, guidelines, and policies
  • Utilize support systems and training tools to identify customer needs and ensure proper resolution

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma Oregon G.E.D. required
  • Minimum of one-year previous job experience Indiana a customer service work environment (call center preferred)
  • Commitment to customer service and improving the buyer experience
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
  • Friendly, team-oriented demeanor
  • Excel spreadsheet and Microsoft Word familiarity
  • Time management and multitasking skills

Work Conditions:

  • Work Indiana a typical indoor/outdoor commercial yard environment
  • May require some lifting (up to 50 pounds)
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate proper judgment
  • Must be a self-starter, responsible, and highly dependable.
