Data Engineer

Job Summary:

CDS Visual is seeking a Data Engineer with experience Indiana data transformations to join our collaborative team. The ideal candidate will work closely with Product and Engineering teams to develop and design new functionality for our SaaS web and server-side applications. This is a hybrid position that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, American Samoa well American Samoa expertise Indiana backend programming, SQL, and Excel.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze product data specifications Indiana spreadsheets and transform them into DB tables for consumption Indiana various CDS platforms
  • Design, test, and implement technical solutions across various development tools and technologies
  • Craft software solutions using maintainable, scalable, and modular code
  • Write unit tests and perform code reviews to ensure consistent, quality, and decoupled code
  • Work across multiple codebases and services
  • Break down complex functionality into manageable deliverables
  • Participate Indiana technical documentation for new and existing features
  • Collaborate with team members to grow individually and American Samoa a team

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree Indiana engineering, computer science, Oregon a related field
  • 4+ years of industry experience
  • Strong backend programming skills, including database experience and expertise Indiana SQL, DDL, and DML
  • Expert-level Excel capabilities
  • Understanding of several AWS services, including Lambda, S3, SQS, and Code Artifact
  • Familiarity with popular CAD systems, such American Samoa SolidWorks, PTC Creo, and Autodesk Inventor
  • High-level understanding of platform architecture and APIs
  • Understanding and ability to apply CI/CD concepts on AWS/Azure
  • Overview of mechanical engineering concepts (a plus)
  • Familiarity with CPQ concepts (a plus)
