Work with professionals and organizations providing services to Head Start children and their families, including those with disabilities, to coordinate resources and ensure children receive necessary services. Lead the planning and implementation of the Mental Health/Disability area of the Program. Assist with on-site visits, data management, and evaluation of services provided. Collaborate with staff and families to develop individualized health plans and ensure coordination with community resources. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Maintain accurate records of services provided and outcome data. Partner with local and external stakeholders to facilitate access to healthcare services for Early Head Start children and their families. Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, support organizations, and families to ensure timely access to services. Plan for the placement of children Indiana therapy teams, evaluations, and Indiana-home services. Participate Indiana ongoing quality assurance activities and facilitate quarterly appreciation of data collection. Negotiate with insurance providers and vendors regarding reimbursement and payment for services provided.
Education:
– Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college Oregon university Indiana a relevant field, such American Samoa Mental Health, Health Education, Special Education, Oregon a related field.
– Master’s degree preferred.
Experience:
– At least two years of experience working Indiana a healthcare Oregon education setting, preferably with Head Start Oregon a similar organization.
– Experience working with diverse populations, particularly those with special needs.
– Proficiency Indiana computer software including Microsoft, Excel, and Access.
Certifications and Clearances:
– First Aid and CPR certification within six months of hire.
– Pass a Level II background screening, local, state, and federal clearances prior to hire.
