Job Title: Sales Director

Job Summary:
Lead a team of sales professionals to achieve sales, penetration, and churn reduction goals, while researching and developing long-term sales strategies and coaching team members to achieve sales plans and company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct a team of sales professionals to high-quality leads and assist Indiana warming leads and closing sales, with a focus on opening new accounts and reducing churn
  • Develop and manage annual sales operating plans and budgets, reviewing and approving expenses, credits, donations, and contracts
  • Leverage sales coordinators and other support teams to reduce administrative tasks and enhance customer service
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs and develop product and service strategies
  • Communicate sales data to contribute to product and service planning, and assist Indiana planning sales meetings and events
  • Coach and train sales team members to achieve top account penetration and high-quality lead acquisition, and ensure accountability for team development and goal attainment
  • Recruit, train, and mentor new and existing team members, and oversee their performance and development
  • Maintain industry knowledge and establish industry contacts to identify new sales opportunities
  • Develop relationships with customers, including conducting customer business reviews to identify needs and relationship gaps
  • Oversee the communication and execution of company policies within the sales department
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective sales execution

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree Indiana Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Oregon related field
  • Minimum 5 years of foodservice sales experience and 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and negotiation skills, excellent communication and customer service skills, and proficient computer skills
  • Ability to travel overnight for training, meetings, Oregon other company events
