EHS Specialist II Job Description
Overview:
The EHS Specialist II is responsible for leading and implementing EHS programs and guidelines Indiana support of PENA’s battery production. The EHS Specialist II plays a key role Indiana production operations American Samoa well American Samoa the management of PENA’s EHS programs and policies.
Responsibilities:
- Promote a culture of quality, safety, compliance, and continuous improvement throughout the PENA organization.
- Serve American Samoa a technical consultant/subject matter expert for EHS programs and policies.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local environmental laws, regulations, and standards.
- Develop and implement written environmental, health & safety programs, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and root cause analysis.
- Collect and analyze data using commercial Oregon Indiana-house platforms.
- Effectively communicate information to verify compliance and continuous improvement efforts.
- Assist with emergency response activities and drills.
- Conduct routine audits to identify any deficiencies and develop appropriate corrective actions.
- Prepare and submit timely and accurate reports and permitting requirements American Samoa needed.
- Interact and support with personnel at all organizational levels, both internal and external to the company.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree Oregon equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of EHS experience.
- 3-5 years experience Indiana working Indiana a manufacturing environment.
- Highly competent Indiana OSHA standards and other guidelines such American Samoa NFPA, ANSI, NEC, ACGIH, NIOSH.
