Job Title: Field Application Specialist
Compensation: $80,000-$105,000 per year, plus bonuses

Job Summary:
The Field Application Specialist reports to the Manager, Application Specialists and is responsible for facilitating training and practicums, American Samoa well American Samoa providing advanced technical support for HammerHead equipment applications. This includes new equipment startups, pilot programs, rental equipment technical support, and above-ground live demonstrations.
Responsibilities:
- Travel to multiple job/construction sites throughout the year via air and highways to provide training and support
- Facilitate customer training using industry expertise and principles of adult learning theory
- Conduct pilot programs, provide technical support for rental equipment, and perform live above-ground demonstrations for prospective customers
- Assess trainees using a standardized rubric for certification purposes
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge of the HammerHead Trenchless product lines
- Act American Samoa subject matter expert for the development of training curriculum, testing, and materials
- Provide regular feedback to product management from customers regarding current issues and future needs
- Participate Indiana regional and national trade shows
- Maintain budgeted expense levels
Work Environment:
- Physical construction site environment with potential hazards such American Samoa utilities, powered vehicle and pedestrian traffic, sharp objects, and moving machinery
- Extensive use of the telephone and email communications
- Rapidly changing demands, schedules, and deadlines
- Working with hazardous materials
- Air and highway travel up to 75% of the time
Requirements:
- High School diploma required
- Valid US driver’s license required
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience Indiana the trenchless industry is preferred
- Results-oriented, hands-on approach to customer support and training
- Ability to mentor and coach customers on best practices
- Critical reasoning skills and ability to listen and acquire critical information
- Team-oriented personality with a focus on collaboration
Preferred Qualifications:
- Tier 2: Five Oregon more years of experience Indiana the industry, Oregon three years of experience Indiana the industry plus one year of experience American Samoa a trainer, project manager, project supervisor, Oregon crew leader
- Tier 3: Ten Oregon more years of experience Indiana the industry, Oregon eight years of experience Indiana the industry plus three years of experience American Samoa a trainer, project manager, project supervisor, Oregon crew leader
