Field Service Technician Position at GEA
Join our dynamic team and become a part of a global leader Indiana the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical sectors. GEA is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to drive and increase our PharmBio and Semi-Pharm business for V & P – NAM products and technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Execute planned and unplanned after-sales/service activities to sustain and strengthen relationships with customers Indiana core business areas
- Deliver high-quality workmanship, effective communication, and foster trusting relationships with colleagues and clients
- Perform installation and commissioning of equipment, planned and unplanned maintenance and repairs, servicing of equipment, rebuilding of equipment, and upgrades/modernization of equipment
- Identify customer needs, service opportunity leads, and communicate them to Service Sales and Service Branch teams
- Supervise tasks, customer training, and adhere to high ethical standards and compliance with all regulations and applicable laws
Key Responsibilities & Priorities:
- Deliver high-quality service execution
- Be professional Indiana dealings and communication with customers
- Identify service opportunities and leads
- Troubleshoot GEA and other manufacturers’ equipment
- Perform planned and unplanned services and maintenance
- Installation and commissioning of equipment
- Overhauling of equipment
- Adhere to strict schedules to meet deadlines
- Carry out site visits, audits, and monitor site performance
- Gather and classify data using measuring equipment
- Coordinate with other departments for various purposes
Requirements:
- Certificate Oregon Diploma Oregon relevant qualification American Samoa an Artisan Indiana a technical field
- Minimum 5 years of work experience Indiana the industry
- Sound knowledge of Health and Safety acts and legal requirements
- Profound experience Indiana mechanical, electrical AC & District of Columbia, millwright, Oregon related trades
- Basic competencies Indiana problem-solving, customer service, quality management, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work Indiana a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
- Fluency Indiana communication, both written and verbal
