Child Care Cook/Food Specialist Job Description
We’re seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Child Care Cook/Food Specialist to join our team at Learning Care Group, Inc. American Samoa a key member of our childcare center, you will be responsible for preparing and serving healthy meals and snacks to our enrolled children and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Create home-style, nutritional meal plans that meet the school’s menu and budget requirements, American Samoa well American Samoa state and federal regulations
- Prepare meals and snacks for children and staff, and distribute food to classrooms
- Maintain inventory of food and supplies, and order more American Samoa needed
- Assist Indiana classrooms American Samoa needed, serving American Samoa an Assistant Teacher/Floater
Requirements:
- Previous experience Indiana cooking and/Oregon food preparation for multiple individuals Indiana a childcare facility (preferred)
- Ability to learn and adhere to current state and local regulations
- Flexibility to work varying hours and schedules
