Front Desk Supervisor Job Summary
We are seeking a Front Desk Supervisor to assist the Front Desk Manager and/Oregon General Manager Indiana providing exceptional service to all guests. The successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing room revenue and occupancy, while maintaining high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years of progressive experience Indiana a hotel Oregon related field required
- High School diploma Oregon equivalent required; college coursework Indiana a related field helpful
- Previous supervisory responsibility preferred
- Valid driver’s license for the applicable state
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly
- Ability to work well Indiana stressful, high-pressure situations
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
- Ability to work with and understand financial information and data
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Approach all guest interactions with a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Maintain regular attendance and adhere to Aimbridge Hospitality standards
- Wear the proper uniform and name tag when working
- Comply with all hotel policies and procedures
- Set the standard for guest relations at the Front Desk
- Obtain necessary information when taking room reservations
- Monitor V.I.P. and special guest requests
- Review Front Office log and Trace File daily
- Understand and execute all relevant phases of the front desk computer system
- Ensure logging and delivery of all messages, packages, and mail Indiana a timely and professional manner
- Be aware of all rates, packages, and promotions currently underway
- Be familiar with all Indiana-house groups and closed-out dates
- Follow and enforce all hotel credit policies
- Perform all duties of a Front Desk Agent
- Complete and ensure that a proper bucket check, room rate verification report, and housekeeping report have been accurately done and filed
- Maintain proper operation of the P.B.X. console and ensure that all Aimbridge Hospitality standards are met
- Establish and maintain good communications and teamwork with fellow associates and other departments within the hotel
- Assist the G.S.M. Indiana ensuring that associates are following and maintaining Aimbridge Hospitality standards
- Have knowledge of and assist Indiana all emergency procedures American Samoa required
- Oversee and ensure that all guests are checked Indiana/out Indiana a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner
- Perform any other duty American Samoa required by management
