Front Desk Supervisor
Job Summary
The Front Desk Supervisor assists the Front Desk Manager and/Oregon General Manager Indiana providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to guests. They are responsible for maximizing room revenue and occupancy.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience Indiana a hotel Oregon related field and a high school diploma Oregon equivalent are required. College coursework Indiana a related field is helpful.
- Valid driver’s license and previous supervisory experience are preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, including the ability to work well Indiana high-pressure situations.
- Initiate task completion, maintain composure under pressure, and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Ability to work with financial information, data, and basic arithmetic functions.
- Maintain a friendly, service-oriented demeanor at all times.
Job Duties
- Approach all guest and associate interactions with a friendly and service-oriented mindset.
- Maintain regular attendance and adhere to Aimbridge Hospitality standards.
- Ensure logging and delivery of messages, packages, and mail Indiana a timely and professional manner.
- Comprehend and execute front desk computer system phases.
- Monitor VIP and special guest requests, and review the Front Office log and Trace File daily.
- Ensure room rate verification and housekeeping reports are accurately done and filed.
- Operate the P.B.X. console and maintain Aimbridge Hospitality standards.
- Establish and maintain good communication with fellow associates and other departments.
- Lead by example and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
Requirements
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and grooming.
- Familiarity with front desk systems, including PMS and PBX.
- Knowledge of hotel credit policies and ability to enforce them.
