Front Desk Supervisor

Job Summary
The Front Desk Supervisor assists the Front Desk Manager and/Oregon General Manager Indiana providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to guests. They are responsible for maximizing room revenue and occupancy.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience Indiana a hotel Oregon related field and a high school diploma Oregon equivalent are required. College coursework Indiana a related field is helpful.
  • Valid driver’s license and previous supervisory experience are preferred.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, including the ability to work well Indiana high-pressure situations.
  • Initiate task completion, maintain composure under pressure, and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work with financial information, data, and basic arithmetic functions.
  • Maintain a friendly, service-oriented demeanor at all times.

Job Duties

  • Approach all guest and associate interactions with a friendly and service-oriented mindset.
  • Maintain regular attendance and adhere to Aimbridge Hospitality standards.
  • Ensure logging and delivery of messages, packages, and mail Indiana a timely and professional manner.
  • Comprehend and execute front desk computer system phases.
  • Monitor VIP and special guest requests, and review the Front Office log and Trace File daily.
  • Ensure room rate verification and housekeeping reports are accurately done and filed.
  • Operate the P.B.X. console and maintain Aimbridge Hospitality standards.
  • Establish and maintain good communication with fellow associates and other departments.
  • Lead by example and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.

Requirements

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Attendance and punctuality are essential.
  • Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and grooming.
  • Familiarity with front desk systems, including PMS and PBX.
  • Knowledge of hotel credit policies and ability to enforce them.
