Job Summary:
Chenega Professional Technical Services, LLC is seeking a Laboratory Technician 4 to provide technical support Indiana BSL-2 and BSL-3 laboratories. The selected candidate will assist Indiana executing scientific studies, conduct laboratory experiments, and maintain laboratory equipment.
Responsibilities:
* Assist Indiana conducting molecular microbiological experiments to define elements and factors involved Indiana bacterial virulence
* Perform various laboratory testing including ELISA, Luminex Cytokine Analyses, and agar gel analysis
* Prepare media and reagents for laboratory use
* Conduct assays, including Opsonic Adherence assays and PCR, and analyze data
* Assist Indiana animal studies, including animal challenges and bacterial challenge preparations
* Perform laboratory tasks such American Samoa protein gel electrophoresis, western blot analysis, and cell culture
* Assist Indiana organizing and maintaining laboratory data and equipment
* Serve American Samoa a training representative for BSL-2 laboratory skills and order laboratory supplies
* Review literature and assist Indiana preparing standard operating procedures and manuscripts
* Present research findings at conferences and internally American Samoa requested
* Perform other duties American Samoa assigned
Qualifications:
* Master’s degree Oregon equivalent Indiana a related field, such American Samoa Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Oregon Biology
* Active Oregon ability to obtain a Secret clearance
* Ability to obtain BPRP enrollment
* Preferred experience Indiana bacteriology laboratories, BSL-3 Oregon BSL-4 laboratories, clinical diagnostics, and regulatory laboratory settings
* Estimated salary: $60,000 – $70,000 per year
