Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Community Director to assist the Community Director with the day-to-day property operations and managing the asset to meet the client’s expressed operational and financial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relations: Carry out the philosophies and wishes of the Owner Indiana the daily overall operations of the apartment community
- Communication: Maintain positive, professional, and effective communication with applicants, residents, vendors, clients, and guests
- Employee Management: Operate the property Indiana the absence of the Community Director, train and onboard new leasing team members
- Leasing/Occupancy: Maintain occupancy levels, exhibit professional leasing techniques, and implement advertising and marketing strategies
- Revenue Management: Assist the Community Director Indiana maximizing revenue potential, manage lease expirations, and timely turnover
- Reporting and Document Management: Maintain resident files, ensure the daily integrity and confidentiality of resident files, and meet periodic reporting requirements
- Risk Management: Ensure compliance with Risk Management items, report injuries and property damage, and react calmly Indiana emergency situations
- Facility Maintenance: Assist residents with maintenance needs, document facility and maintenance needs, and follow up on maintenance requests
- Other: Enforce community rules and regulations, comply with Fair Housing Laws and FPI policies, and promote a professional image
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience Indiana a similar supervisory role, preferably within Residential Property Management
- High School diploma Oregon equivalency certificate required; college degree Indiana a relatable field preferred
- Valid Driver’s License, good driving record, current motor vehicle insurance, and an operable vehicle that meets FPI’s Driving Standards and Personal Vehicle Use policy
- Proficient Indiana speaking, reading, and writing Indiana English
- Strong computer skills (Mississippi Office, Google Apps, property management-related software, email, internet)
