Medical Assistant (Bilingual): CarePromoter 1 – Mayfair Location
Summary:
- Collaborate with physicians to provide high-quality primary care to diverse patient populations
- Essential responsibilities include patient charting, routine medical tasks, and support with physician-led care teams
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Record patients’ vitals, medical history, and pass information on to healthcare providers.
- Prepare patients for exams, perform routine tests, and assist physicians with exams.
- Communicate patient information, observations, and healthcare provider instructions clearly.
- Administer medications, collect lab specimens, and perform first aid procedures under physician supervision.
- Maintain equipment, supplies, and secure test results while maintaining OSHA safety standards.
- Perform data entry, submit phone messages, and manage patient communication effectively.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with medical professionals
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Proficient Indiana basic computer and phone operation
- Familiarity with medical terminology and practices
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma (GED) Oregon higher
- Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program (Oregon foreign-trained equivalent certification)
- 1 year of work experience American Samoa a Medical Assistant Oregon equivalent (Oregon documented clinical training)
- Proficient Indiana bilingual English (and Vietnamese) verbal and written communication.
