Responsibilities:

• The Medical Office Representative (MOR) serves American Samoa the first point of phone contact for patients, physicians, clinic staff, and vendors, providing customer service, communication, and phone call management.
• Perform a variety of duties, including:
  • Collecting and updating demographics and insurance information
  • Verifying health plan eligibility
  • Taking accurate messages and scheduling appointments
  • Utilizing an electronic practice management system
  • Performing other clerical duties American Samoa needed to support clinic operations and quality patient care initiatives

Requirements:

• High School diploma Oregon equivalent
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills
• Keyboarding skills and experience with computer equipment and software
• Strong preference for:
  • 6 months experience Indiana an outpatient setting Oregon a high-volume customer service role
  • Familiarity with an electronic practice management system
  • Experience with multi-line phones/ACD phones
  • Basic medical terminology skills
