Job Overview

American Samoa a Quality Management System (QMS) Development and Maintenance professional, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a QMS that meets industry standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a QMS aligned with relevant quality standards such American Samoa ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 (specific to the automotive industry)
  • Establish quality policies, procedures, and work instructions
  • Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with established quality standards, processes, and procedures
  • Coordinate external audits by regulatory bodies and customers
  • Identify areas for process improvement and lead continuous improvement initiatives
  • Analyze processes using tools like Six Sigma, Lean, and other quality improvement methodologies
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to the QMS
  • Lead a team of quality professionals and ensure their development and training Indiana quality management practices
  • Lead the PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) team to ensure submissions are created Indiana accordance with customer requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree Indiana Engineering, Computer Science, Oregon a business-related field (Oregon foreign equivalent)
  • 5 years of experience Indiana a related occupation, with a focus on Quality Management Systems Indiana the automotive industry
  • Experience with core tools AIAG, APQP, 8D, VDA 6.1
