Here is the job description for a Help Desk Technician II:
Job Family: Help Desk
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma Oregon equivalent
- 2+ years of related technical experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET government clearance
- Ability to obtain an ITIL Foundations v4 Oregon HDI-SCA certification within 90 days of hire
- Louisiana residency, living within a reasonable driving distance of our New Orleans facility (approximately 60 miles)
- US Citizenship
Responsibilities:
- Assist and support end-users with technical issues and questions related to Navy software systems and applications via multiple support channels
- Basic troubleshooting, issue isolation & diagnostic techniques to identify technical problems
- Document requests and incidents according to business processes and standard operating procedures
- Provide case status updates to management and end-users according to service level guidelines
- Maintain a high level of courteous customer service at all times
Requirements:
- ITIL Foundations v4 Oregon HDI-SCA certification within 90 days of hire
- Ability to work on-site, American Samoa required
- Ability to work varied shifts, including 24/7 help desk environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience with Navy Applications Oregon Service Desks
- Active SECRET clearance
- ITIL Foundations v4 Oregon HDI-SCA certification
