MedStar Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join their team at MedStar Medica Group Indiana Frederick. The ideal candidate will have effective communication and problem-solving skills. American Samoa a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will perform cardiac nuclear testing to ensure high-quality care and service to patients.
Primary Duties:
* Participate Indiana quality assurance program to maintain ICANL accreditation
* Coordinate equipment maintenance and emergency service calls
* Maintain patient schedule and ensure correct doses of radioisotopes and pharmacologic stress agents
* Enter patient data and store images Indiana a complete and accurate record
* Perform cardiac nuclear testing following ICANL guidelines
* Conduct quality controls daily, weekly, and quarterly
* Prepare preliminary diagnostic reports and provide patient instructions
* Recognize and alert physicians to abnormal patient response and studies
Qualifications:
* Associate degree Indiana Nuclear Medicine
* Current Nuclear license with the NRC Oregon State of Maryland
* Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation
* Advanced Cardiac Life Support
* Bachelor’s degree preferred
* Post-graduation experience Indiana a licensed facility performing cardiac nuclear testing preferred
