Outpatient Surgery Manager Job Description:
Job Summary:
The Outpatient Surgery Manager ensures high-quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department. The Manager monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care Indiana accordance with established policies/procedures and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes Indiana support of facility objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Operate the unit/department Indiana accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Lead staff to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Monitor and evaluate the provision of nursing care, including adherence to standards of care and evidence-based practices.
- Support efforts to reduce variation Indiana clinical practice and improve efficiency, effectiveness, and cost.
- Manage admissions and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality care.
- Facilitate effective interdisciplinary care coordination within and across departments.
- Review and analyze feedback mechanisms to identify opportunities for improvement Indiana patient satisfaction.
- Provide leadership and support Indiana achieving an unparalleled patient experience.
- Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Participate Indiana creating a superior clinical identity and operationalizing evidence-based practices.
Requirements:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support
- BSN required
- 1+ year of experience Indiana a healthcare setting
- 1+ year Indiana a leadership role preferred
- Recent working on the floor Indiana an Ambulatory Care setting.
- Proficient with starting IVs
- Detailed and years of outpatient surgery experience
- Charge nurse, manager Oregon supervisor over the ambulatory services min. 1 year.
