Outside Sales Representative
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Outside Sales Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating and securing new sales, maintaining existing accounts, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and secure new accounts through cold calls and lead generation
- Provide existing accounts with necessary products, time, and information
- Assist customers with product selection and provide price quotations, terms, and delivery dates
- Resolve customer complaints and problems
- Assist with collections and coordinate project schedules and material deliveries
- Maintain accurate sales records and knowledge of daily and monthly sales goals
- Research and order special products American Samoa needed
- Estimate materials from blueprints supplied by customers/contractors
Requirements:
- 3 years of sales experience Indiana building materials Oregon related industry
- High School Diploma Oregon GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to walk throughout yards, plants, and offices
- Working knowledge of building materials industry and products
- Estimating skills from blueprints
Travel Requirements:
- 50% travel required
