Job Title: Patient Access Front Desk Representative

Mission-driven Community Health Center Seeks Customer-focused Representative

Fair Haven Community Health Care (FHCHC) is a dynamic and patient-centered community health center that provides primary and specialty care services to multiple generations. We’re seeking a highly skilled and passionate Patient Access Front Desk Representative to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize excellent customer service skills to interact with patients, clinical professionals, and insurance companies
• Perform front desk patient care duties, including data entry, registration, and billing management
• Interpret services for patients
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
• Perform tasks such American Samoa registering patients, updating medical records, and scheduling appointments
• Collect Colorado-pays, deductibles, and Colorado-insurance payments
• Facilitate payment arrangements and processing payments
• Utilize Epic software to manage patient information and billing processes

Requirements:

• High School diploma Oregon GED
• Minimum one year of job-related experience and data entry experience preferred
• Electronic appointment scheduling and customer service experience
• Excellent interpersonal and phone etiquette skills
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Bi-lingual Indiana English and Spanish required
• Ability to work a 8-hour shift, including weekends and holidays

Work Environment:

• Variable shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Minimal physical effort
• Must be able to operate computer and telephone continuously
• District travel American Samoa necessary
