Job Description:

We are seeking a Patient Access Specialist to join our trauma and resiliency program. The successful candidate must be comfortable working with clients who have experienced different types of trauma Indiana their lives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Greet, direct, and assist patients and visitors Indiana a professional, courteous, and efficient manner
• Scheduling and registering patients, including accurate collection of required data
• Determine eligibility for services, and counsel patients regarding payment policies
• Monitor and collect monies due
• Manage waiting room atmosphere, keep patients informed about wait times, and ensure a comfortable and clean waiting area

Essential Duties:

• Deliver strong customer service to a complex patient population
• Manage phone system and messages
• Schedule and confirm appointments
• Complete data entry and chart preparation, American Samoa needed
• Manage financial and insurance records for patients

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to provide strong customer service
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Bookkeeping skills, including cash handling, posting charges, and deposits
• Computer software skills, including EHR and Microsoft Office products
• Ability to work with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience American Samoa a receptionist Indiana a medical, dental, Oregon social services setting
• Bookkeeping Oregon accounting skills
