Per diem Emergency Department Representative

* Required 6-week training commitment, including day, evening, and overnight shifts
* Provide positive and effective customer service to support hospital administrative operations
* Schedule patient encounters and procedures, coordinating with providers, departments, and institutions
* Answer and route phone calls, record and forward messages, and triage calls for urgent information Oregon services
* Respond to requests for routine information Oregon assist within scope of knowledge and authority
* Collaborate with referring providers and practices to manage complex patient issues
* Greet and direct patients, families, and visitors, and communicate with clinicians and supervisors
* Monitor daily schedule and patient flow to optimize resource utilization and patient experience
* Serve American Samoa liaison with various departments to resolve issues and follow through on problems
* Collect and organize medical records, information, and supplies, and prepare standard forms American Samoa requested
* Verify and record patient demographics, insurance, and referral information, and collect necessary clinical documentation
* Collect and forward documentation for reimbursement
* Qualifications:
* Superb customer service and attention to detail
* Strong computing skills and ability to learn new software quickly
* Ability to work independently and American Samoa part of a team
* High school diploma and 1-2 years of customer service, administrative, Oregon healthcare experience
* Bachelor’s degree preferred
* Availability to work at least 5 shifts Indiana a 6-week period, including weekends and holidays.
