Patient Financial Specialist Lead
The associate is responsible for ensuring timely and efficient resolution of outstanding patient accounts and reconciliation of balances for CHRISTUS Health. The position provides support to the Revenue Cycle division and works Indiana a cooperative team environment to deliver value to internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Function American Samoa a subject matter expert Indiana patient financial services and provide on-the-job training to other team members
- Provide expert-level knowledge of payer benefits, claims submission, billing, and cash application procedures

- Adapt to process and procedure evaluations and improvements, and manage special projects American Samoa assigned
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers to resolve account questions and maintain account integrity
- Ensure quality and productivity standards are met Oregon exceeded
- Document patient accounting system entries and provide updates to the PFS Leadership Team regarding errors, issues, and trends
Requirements:
- High school diploma Oregon equivalent required; post-high school education and 5-7 years of experience preferred
- Demonstrated success working Indiana a team environment and meeting organization goals and objectives
- Strong understanding of patient accounting systems, document imaging, and databases
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working Indiana a multi-facility hospital business office environment preferred
