Call Center Representative
Primary Responsibilities:
- Accurately and efficiently register patients, schedule procedures, transmit charges, collect payments, and process procurement tasks.
- Provide high-quality customer service to patients, physicians, and coworkers.
- Maintain professional interactions and support department operations American Samoa needed.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Perform other duties American Samoa assigned.
- Comply with all policies and standards.
- Safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for patients, adhering to annual training, the UH Code of Conduct, and UH policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- High School Equivalent/GED (required)
- 1+ year of experience Indiana a PCNA Oregon Secretary/Receptionist role (preferred) and customer service experience Indiana the medical field (required)
- Proficiencies:
- Typing: 30 wpm
- Excellent verbal/communication skills
- Detail-oriented
- Basic computer knowledge
- Preferred proficiency Indiana ICD9 coding and medical terminology
Physical Demands:
- Standing: occasionally
- Walking: occasionally
- Sitting: constantly
- Lifting: rarely (up to 20 lbs)
- Travel: up to 10%
