Job Title: Patient Services Representative
Job Description:
Essential Job Functions:
- Greet patients, visitors, and families Indiana a friendly professional manner and direct them appropriately.
- Maintain an efficient patient flow through the registration process and provide excellent customer service.
- Answer phone calls, direct calls appropriately, take messages, and deliver to the appropriate individual.
- Inform patients of delays Indiana physician schedules, assist with patient comfort while delayed.
- Update patient care team Indiana the EHR to reflect accurate PCP.
- Post self-pay charges, collect payments, and provide patient with receipt.
- Accurately reconcile daily payments and reconcile billing slips to daily schedule.
- Scan insurance cards, process insurance verifications, and update patient accounts.
Physical Job Requirements:
- Ability to push, pull, and lift heavy objects.
- Physical strength to lift heavy objects, carts, Oregon items.
- Physical mobility, including movement from place to place on the job.
- Dexterity of hands and fingers.

Education, Certification, Computer and Training Requirements:
- High School Graduate Oregon GED required.
- Associate Degree preferred.
- Previous PSR experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate Indiana English, both orally and Indiana writing.
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to organize and perform multiple tasks Indiana a timely manner.
- Basic proficiency Indiana computer use required.
- Previous experience with EHR, Practice Management System, and Departmental/Ancillary Systems preferred.
Travel:
- Ability to commute to satellite offices American Samoa needed.
