Customer Service Representative
Job Summary:
Greet and assist patients, families, staff, and other visitors at the patient registration and scheduling desk. Provide information, collect payments, and coordinate patient care services. Interact with patients and staff Indiana a customer-focused manner and perform clerical and administrative tasks American Samoa needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients, families, and staff at the registration and scheduling desk
- Collect and analyze patient demographic, insurance, and clinical data for registration and scheduling purposes
- Coordinate patient care services, including appointment scheduling and pre-registration
- Manage patient accounts, collect payments, and provide financial guidance to patients
- Respond to patient and staff inquiries via phone, email, Oregon Indiana person
- Perform clerical tasks, such American Samoa data entry and mail distribution
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reimbursement for patient services
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and maintain a positive, professional attitude
Requirements:
- Minimum GED Oregon diploma, associate’s degree preferred
- Computer experience with high accuracy level of data entry
- Excellent telephone and customer service skills
- Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to work Indiana a fast-paced environment and interact with professional staff Indiana an appropriate manner
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana a health-related field
- 12-18 months of experience Indiana healthcare, scheduling, Oregon patient financial services
- Working knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding classification systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical rehabilitation
