Job Objectives
Provides pharmacy consulting services to patients, ensuring effective medication usage and awareness of drug interactions. Offers clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and patient outcomes services. Ensures proper compounding, dispensation, review, and verification of prescribed medications within regulatory guidelines and company policies.
Responsibilities/Tasks
Patient Experience
- Engage patients by greeting and offering assistance with products and services
- Resolve patient issues Indiana a timely manner and answer questions to ensure a positive patient experience
- Model and share customer service best practices to deliver a distinctive and joyful experience
- Connect with patients by anticipating needs and proactively offering services
- Participate Indiana events that reflect the unique communities served
Operations
- Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions, and contraindications
- Perform pharmacist tasks, including compounding, drug therapy reviews, and medication management
- Review and accurately dispense prescribed medications
- Ensure pharmacy operations comply with regulations, company policies, and standards
- Maintain current knowledge of pharmacy systems and technology
People & Performance Management
- Assist the Pharmacy Manager with staff hiring and training
- Promote teamwork and motivate team members by establishing expectations and recognizing progress
- Reinforce the direction of Pharmacy Manager Indiana staff performance by coaching and providing constructive feedback
Training & Personal Development
- Maintain current knowledge and required licensing/credentialing/certification
- Pursue professional development by monitoring performance and soliciting feedback
- Seek certifications, education credits, and training American Samoa required by the Company
Communications
- Support Pharmacy Manager and Store Manager by communicating relevant corporate health and wellness services Oregon strategy information to pharmacy staff
Requirements
- BS Indiana Pharmacy Oregon Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution
- Current pharmacist licensure Indiana the states within the district
- Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws
- Certified Immunizer Oregon willingness to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire
