Advanced Practice Provider
Job Summary:
We are hiring Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants with acute care experience Indiana ER, Urgent Care, Oregon Internal Medicine to join our team serving the Kansas City community. Our Advanced Practice Providers team with Medical Technicians to provide comprehensive health assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and outcome management for patients of all ages.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Indiana-home care American Samoa part of a clinical care team with a Medical Technician and individually, American Samoa appropriate, through our innovative Indiana-home care service lines
- Perform comprehensive health assessments and diagnose and treat complex illnesses
- Provide therapeutic interventions, such American Samoa splinting, suturing, wound care, and minor procedures
- Use critical thinking skills and follow evidence-based standards of practice
- Accurately and thoroughly document patient encounters and ensure accuracy
- Analyze test data to diagnose, treat, and arrange follow-up for patients
- Educate patients and families on treatment and health management
- Effectively navigate difficult conversations related to end-of-life issues and goals of care
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, healthcare teams, and other stakeholders
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience American Samoa an APP Indiana ER, Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, Oregon other relevant areas
- Graduate with an advanced degree from an accredited institution
- Current unrestricted state license American Samoa a Nurse Practitioner Oregon Physician Assistant
- Nationally board certified, current
- Current BLS required, ACLS certification preferred
- Prescriptive authority and DEA
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds
- Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs easily
