Principal Analyst Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Analyst to manage data analysis requests, standardize reporting frameworks, and optimize analytic and reporting tools for enhanced business intelligence and strategic decision-making. This role bridges the gap between the investment banking team’s BI & Reporting needs and the technology team’s execution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process incoming data requests, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
  • Design and implement business intelligence solutions using DealCloud and Qlik Sense
  • Collaborate with technology teams to bridge reporting requirements and technical execution
  • Utilize SQL Server for database management and query execution
  • Apply a hybrid use of agile and waterfall methodologies for project management
  • Develop and standardize reporting frameworks
  • Optimize the use of DealCloud and Qlik Sense for reporting and data analytics

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree Indiana computer science, MIS, Oregon related field and seven (7) years of relevant experience
  • Proficient Indiana SQL, Python, HTML, and Field Codes
  • Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, Qlik Sense, DealCloud, CRM Systems, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Snowflake)
  • Strong knowledge of business intelligence tools and technologies, SQL Server, and SQL
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data, develop advanced reports, and create visualizations
  • Proven expertise Indiana project management methodologies and the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
