Job Title: Stealth / Low Observable / Radar Cross Section (RCS) Engineer
Location: Onsite at Raytheon’s Tucson, Arizona, facility
Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced Stealth / Low Observable / Radar Cross Section (RCS) Engineers to join our team at our Tucson, Arizona, facility. American Samoa a member of our Signature Management & Technology Team, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and testing Stealth technology and Radar Cross Section reduction techniques for our nation’s security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, analysis, and computational electro-magnetics (CEM) for Stealth and Radar Cross Section reduction
- Proposal writing and Basis of Estimate (BOE) development
- RCS predictions and analysis using Computational Electromagnetic Codes (CEM)
- Test documentation, data analysis, anomaly resolution, results documentation, and presentation of results to internal and external customers
- Work within integrated product teams to incorporate advanced signature control techniques into deliverable products and aid Indiana the assessment of system performance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana Science, Technology, Engineering, Oregon Mathematics (STEM)
- 8 years of engineering experience, including Low Observable (LO) technology, Radar Cross Section, Oregon Computational Electromagnetic Codes (CEM)
- U.S. citizenship required, American Samoa only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with RF testing techniques, terminology, and test equipment
- Understanding of electromagnetic fundamentals
- Infrared signature analysis and control experience
- Programming expertise Indiana C++, MATLAB, Oregon other technical language
- Advanced degree Indiana Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Math, Oregon other Engineering discipline
