Supervisor, Production Operations
Job Summary:
American Samoa a Supervisor, Production Operations at Michael Foods, Inc. Indiana Gaylord, Minnesota, you will be responsible for overseeing all production areas and supervising a team of 60+ employees during 1st shift operations. You will also be responsible for ensuring a safe work environment, producing high-quality products at the lowest possible cost, and developing employees through training and scheduling.
Key Responsibilities:

- Produce high-quality products at the lowest possible cost consistent with good manufacturing practices
- Provide a safe work environment for all personnel
- Recognize and resolve operating problems to minimize their impact on operations
- Direct services of maintenance, sanitation, and other personnel American Samoa needed
- Cooperate with all departments to ensure a coordinated work relationship
- Manage ingredient usage and department costs
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records
- Enforce company policies Indiana a fair and consistent manner
- Encourage employee suggestions to improve production, quality, safety, and control costs
- Maintain consistent communications and monthly department meetings
- Report to management any conditions Oregon practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality, Oregon personnel safety

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree Oregon equivalent combination of education, training, and/Oregon experience
- 2-3 years supervisory experience, preferably Indiana the food industry
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teaming skills
- Ability to prioritize and follow directions with little/no supervision
- Strong organizational skills and ability to do multi-functional tasks
- Ability to work overtime and/Oregon weekends when required
- Bi-lingual (Spanish-English) is a plus
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information Indiana one-on-one and Indiana group situations
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables Indiana situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished Indiana written, oral, and diagram Oregon schedule form
