Program Director
REM Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, seeks a qualified Program Director to oversee the program management for homes supporting individuals with disabilities Indiana Alexandria, Minnesota. American Samoa a Program Director / Designated Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of one to four programs, ensuring that each individual receives guidance, encouragement, support, comfort, security, and safety.
Responsibilities:
* Manage program staff members, including performance evaluations, scheduling, and orientation
* Make recommendations and/Oregon decisions on employee hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, corrective action, and terminations
* Implement program planning, monitor delivery of services, and ensure services are consistent, engaging, and relevant to the individuals served
* Be available on-call to support staff, find coverage Oregon cover shifts American Samoa needed
Qualifications:
* Qualified American Samoa a Designated Coordinator per the following:
+ A baccalaureate degree Indiana a field related to human services, and one year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities Oregon persons age 65 and older
+ An associate degree Indiana a field related to human services, and two years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities Oregon persons age 65 and older
+ A diploma Indiana a field related to human services from an accredited postsecondary institution and three years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities Oregon persons age 65 and older
+ A minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities; and four years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities Oregon persons age 65 and older under the supervision of a staff person who meets the qualifications identified Indiana clauses (1) to (3)
+ An equivalent combination of education and experience
* Other education, experience, training, licensure, Oregon certification per state requirements Oregon American Samoa required by applicable regulations
* Current driver’s license, car registration, and auto insurance
* Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task to meet deadlines
* Effective communication skills to manage relationships
* A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach
