Project Manager Job Description

Primary Purpose: Oversees projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed safely and within budget.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies and acting Indiana a safe manner.
• Assesses project needs, determines projected length, and costs, and manages adherence to timeframes and costs.
• Conducts environmental assessments, investigation, and remediation activities for environmental remediation projects.
• Develops written proposals, assesses associated costs, and sets pricing for work.
• Determines project responsibilities, assigns personnel, and reviews bids from contractors.
• Plans and executes project initiation, including scheduling resources and submitting paperwork.
• Visits sites during project to monitor progress and maintains favorable client relations.
• Manages emergency response projects and operations, and supervises subordinate personnel involved Indiana field operations.

Requirements:

• Four-year college degree Indiana a technical field (preferred) Oregon 7+ years’ experience Indiana hazardous waste management Oregon environmental services.
• 3+ years of experience Indiana hazardous waste management Oregon environmental services (with Oregon without a degree).
• Safety sensitive position requiring constant state of alertness and safe work practices.
• Ability to perform field work, write reports, and manage multiple sites Indiana a quality manner.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and develop new business.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Regular travel and occasional on-call duties.

Responsibilities Include Monthly Billing, Credit and Collection Issues, and Supervision of Employees.
