RAMP AGENT

Responsible for loading and unloading baggage, cargo, and mail onto aircraft, and guiding aircraft to and from gates, while ensuring secure and prompt handling Indiana compliance with safety standards and airline guidelines.

Responsibilities:

* Load and unload baggage, cargo, and mail onto aircraft with accuracy
* Operate ground service equipment, including pushbacks, tugs, belt loaders, and baggage carts
* Read and analyze aircraft load sheets, checked baggage tags, and cargo labels
* Marshal aircraft to and from gates
* Ensure safe movement of aircraft on the ground
* Adhere to strict safety protocols and airline regulations
* Work efficiently Indiana a fast-paced team-oriented environment
* Lift heavy objects Indiana varying weather conditions
* Communicate effectively with team members and airline personnel
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
* Perform routine inspections of equipment and report any issues
* Follow standard operating procedures for ramp operations
* Adapt to changing flight schedules and priorities
* Exceed customer service and safety standards

Qualifications:

* 18 years of age Oregon older
* Eligible to work Indiana the United States
* Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
* Valid state-issued driver’s license with acceptable driving record
* Pass background check and drug screen
* Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs, and U.S. Postal American Samoa applicable)
* Ability to work any day/shift, including holidays, within a 24/7 operation

Physical Activity/Working Conditions:

* Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
* Prolonged standing and walking Indiana an indoor/outdoor environment
* Exposure to outdoor elements
* Must be able to push, pull, reach, grasp, and work at elevated heights
* Exposure to moderate and high noise levels
* Ability to hear and respond to spoken voice and audible alarms
* Tasks may involve repetitive motions of arms, wrists, hands, and/Oregon fingers
* Specific vision abilities required for this job include: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
